Abandon yourselves to this elixir of candied fruit
X-Taste is coming back !! Following a 2005 which ended up in the bellies of wild birds (not joking !), we protected our vines in 2006 with nets. X-Taste is therefore the fruit of late-harvest of November 7th 2006. The highly concentrated botrytised grapes (noble rot), filled with sweetness, are pressed very slowly with the help of an old Marmonnier press (half a century-old small wooden press) which gives only one pièce (228 litre cask) of X-Taste.
A micro-cuvée !! The highly concentrated sweet juice (300 grams of sugar per litre) then took a whole year fermenting in cask. Bottling in half bottles took place in the Spring of 2008. Abandon yourselves to this elixir of candied fruit (dry figs, quince jelly) still fully elegant and fresh.
