Our MÂCON-VINZELLES « Le CLOS DE GRAND PÈRE » is our Pouilly-Vinzelles La Soufrandière’s younger brother and comes from a plot belonging to our maternal Grand-Father. The vines – aged 50 on average- lay on the lower part of the Pouilly-Vinzelles slope.
They form a very old « clos » on a rocky vein of hard limestone. The terroir is asserting itself. The 2007 is not as rich as the 2006 but is full of fruit and elegance. Merci Grand-Père !
